I was born on 16 August 1999 at Mayday Hospital, now known as Croydon University Hospital, in Surrey, England.
Growing up, I enjoyed an active childhood and spent several years within the Scout Movement, progressing through Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Between 2008 and 2011, I attended Trooping the Colour with my Cub Scout group, giving me the opportunity to take part in a major national occasion.
After leaving Scouts, I remained involved with my local youth club. In 2012, the club gave me the opportunity to attend the London Paralympic Games, allowing me to experience one of the largest and most memorable sporting events ever hosted in the United Kingdom.
In 2014, I moved to Kent. Since then, I have continued developing my knowledge of business, investing and the wider financial industry.
Between 2012 and 2015, my grandmother worked at Walker Crips Group plc. When she collected me from school, I would sometimes spend time at her workplace before staying at her house for the evening.
I occasionally helped with simple office tasks, including carrying printed documents from my grandmother’s desk to the location manager, Clifford. At the time, I did not realise that some of those papers related to clients and portfolios worth millions, and sometimes billions, of pounds.
When I was not helping, I would explore the office, walk downstairs to the basement, draw on yellow sticky notes and play with a Russian nesting doll kept nearby. To me, it was simply an interesting place filled with unfamiliar people, paperwork and activity.
Looking back, those visits introduced me to wealth management between the ages of thirteen and sixteen. They sparked my curiosity about investing, markets and the way money is managed, eventually developing into a genuine interest in researching companies and building my own investment portfolio.
Today, I continue to explore finance, history, photography and investigative research. I enjoy learning how organisations operate, how decisions are made and how ideas grow into businesses.
